Florida is internationally known for its sun-kissed shores and beautiful beach communities.  Palm Beach, Key West: these names conjure up images of soft white sand, clear skies, and crystalline ocean waters.  But which Florida beaches are the best?  Find these beaches on a map.

Delray Beach

From Boca Raton, head north, come to the intersection of Ocean and Atlantic Avenues, and you’ve reached one of the best beach communities in the state.  Nearly 1 million people visit this family-friendly, 2-mile-long beach every year.  Delray Beach is ideal for sunbathing, swimming and sandcastle-building.  When the Sun goes down, enjoy the vibrant nightlife, great seafood restaurants, and the Pineapple Grove Arts District.

West of Delray Beach, on the opposite side of Florida’s coast, sits Naples.  In Naples, it is hard to say which is the more beautiful site: the clean 10-mile long beach, or the mansions that make up Millionaire’s Row.  In addition to having some of the nicest beaches in the US, Naples is also one of America’s 10 priciest cities.

Key West

If you’re into snorkeling, kayaking, or simply laying out on one of the best beaches in the Florida, Key West is your paradise.  With plenty of aquatic and dry land attractions, including Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, Key West has something to offer everyone.  And you haven’t truly seen a sunset until you’ve seen it from the shores of Key West.

If you think an internationally renowned beach city is a great location to stay warm this winter, Florida may be the place for you.  If you’re looking to plan a trip to Florida, get started with the right map.  MarketMAPS publishes the most complete selection of maps of anywhere in the US and worldwide.
